Innovation and technology utilise craft influences to bring newness to our Summer ‘21 collection, referencing our unique expertise and artistry alongside new fabrics, structures and textures. Thick and thin yarns, a variety of stitches and inlay detailing give the appearance of hand-worked pieces and inspire feelings of light, space and serenity. Colours influenced by elements of nature feel atmospheric and calm, while shots of Emerald and Wedgewood blue add modernity.
This season, we take stock of our journey so far and reset the bar for the future. Simple, timeless pieces reflect our brand’s DNA, and new yarn blends make their debuts, such as our most compact Cashmere Silk fabric to date and our cool, clean Silk Linen.
New fabrics in fresh weights attract a new audience for us in menswear this season. Our tightly- woven Cashmere Poplin has a cool touch for summer; a fabric with such a unique handle it becomes an experience rather than just a material to wear. Machine washable cotton brings a robust versatility into the fold. Our men’s loungewear range is about more than off-duty dressing; it’s a lifestyle range. Ergonomic, body tracing lines give an athletic feel while textural detail provides the aesthetic. An atmospheric colour palette includes Silver, Granite and Cielo – the Italian word for cloud.
Woven accessories also focus on light, replicating the shapes and fractions of colour that might appear through a photographers lens. Patterns play with pixelation and distortion, adding flashes of colour to neutral backgrounds. Crisp, sharp designs complement new interpretations of our iconic ombré.
Overall this is an intimate, personal collection that goes back to the building blocks of the company. We are continually adapting and changing while being mindful of our roots. This season’s calm, reassuring designs and colours are a welcome breath of fresh air while the collection as a whole bridges the way to the future.
