LONDON FASHION WEEK FEBRUARY 2019 REVIEW
Gold cashmere and jewel-inspired tones give an Art Deco feel to our Autumn Winter 19 collection, which hit the runways of London Fashion Week this February. Inspired by the golden age of empire and travel, double-faced matte cashmere, lightweight merino and cashmere velour are key to the luxury collection.
The show-stopping 100% cashmere maxi-dress with balloon sleeves makes a bold statement, showcasing an oversized, retro aviation-inspired motif. This striking design is also featured on the wide palazzo trousers and the 100% cashmere blanket scarf.
The extra-fine merino jumpsuit in slate combines dramatic style with year-round wearability, the superfine wool promising to keep you cool in warmer temperatures and keep you warm when it gets chilly.
Creative director Alan Scott discussed our return to London Fashion Week for a third consecutive season:
"Johnstons of Elgin has retained its reputation for quality, innovation and design for over two centuries. These pillars are at the very heart of what we do on a day to day basis and are demonstrated year-round. To be able to show our skill and expertise on a global platform continues to be an absolute honour."
