The Location

In November 2017 the Johnstons of Elgin Design and Marketing teams took themselves and a selection of our exquisite AW18/19 pieces, fresh off our knitting and weaving machines in Hawick and Elgin, to the vibrant city of Glasgow for a five day shoot that brought together both indoor and outdoor locations to create a captivating and enticing world which showcases our latest collection.

Photographer Mark Seagar captures the beauty of our new collection whilst sporting a pair of Johnstons of Elgin Wristwarmers.

The team head outside to shoot against the urban backdrop of inner city Glasgow.

The Models

Glaswegian model Connor Newall brings our AW18/19 men's collection to life exuding the essence of the Johnstons of Elgin man. A man who wears his distinctive personality with a confidence reflected in a wardrobe of world exclusives in innovative fabrics sculpted and tailored in the artisan style.

"He became a phenomenon. He's probably one of the most successful model boys that Scotland has ever produced" - Michael O’Brien, Model Team Scotland

Photoshoots are hard work but there's always time for a laugh.

Our female model Ash has the elegance, poise and beauty of the Johnstons of Elgin woman – a modern sophisticate, as comfortable travelling the world as she is on home ground. Enjoying using colour and texture to elevate her style and conveying her unique personality in her personal style.

"To just be yourself in a world that's constantly trying to make you something else, is the greatest accomplishment in itself." - Ash Foo, Model

Female mode Ash wears the bright yellow Batwing Rollneck Jumper with the Spiral Skirt and Macleod of Lewis Stole.
