Stuart Hogg

As we gear up for the start of the 2019 Six Nations Tournament, we are launching a limited edition collection in partnership with Scottish rugby player Stuart Hogg. Every garment in the SWH Ten25 Collection has been designed and made in our Hawick Mill, Stuart's hometown in the heartland of Scotland's world-renowned textile industry.

Stuart Hogg

Stuart, whose distinguished career has seen him play for Hawick, Glasgow Warriors, Scotland and the British & Irish Lions, has strong links with Johnstons of Elgin. His father, John, has worked at the Johnstons of Elgin Hawick mill for more than 20 years. When Stuart was younger, he spent a summer working at the mill. As John says, "Stuart worked here a long time ago but he was always more interested in rugby!" The SWH Ten25 collection of menswear takes its name from Stuart’s initials (his middle name is William) and the unique cap number (1025) he received from Scottish Rugby on his national team debut against Wales in Cardiff in 2012.

Stuart maintains close ties with his home town and is proud to put his name to this collection: "Johnstons plays a huge part in the Hawick community," he says. "Generation after generation come to work in the Hawick mill, including me and my Dad." The Johnstons of Elgin SWH Ten25 collection is available online and in-store now.
