Spending time apart from those we love can be challenging, as many of us adjust to a new way of living and working. While we reassess our routines and find ways to make our surroundings more comfortable, we are also mindful of friends and family members we can't be with. We might not be able to meet for coffee or give one another a loving hug, but we can still keep in touch, and with so much uncertainty around us, it is more important than ever to do so. When you can't be with the people you love, you can still show them how much you care.
In this age of instant messaging and video calling, we can still send a smile to friends. Consider making your morning tea break a virtual one, chatting over a cuppa as you previously would have done in person. Sending a message could lift someone’s spirits but a letter or card, sent in the post, might go even further towards brightening someone’s day.
If you choose to send a gift, perhaps to someone who is spending their birthday a little differently to how they had planned, or to offer comfort to a loved one you aren’t able to visit in person, we can present it in an elegant box to make it extra special.
