We are delighted to welcome you back to our London store, and while some aspects of your shopping experience may be a little different than before, our exceptional customer service remains the same. Our employees and customers are important to us, and to ensure their safety, we have put the following provisions in place:
Social Distancing – we ask that customers maintain the recommended distance from other shoppers while in store.
Fitting Rooms – for the safety of our customers, our fitting rooms are currently closed. To allow customers more time to try items on at home, and return any purchases that might be unsuitable, we have extended our returns policy to 60 days.
Contactless Payment – where possible, we ask that customers use contactless payment options for faster, safer checkout.
Hand Sanitising – for your convenience, Hand Sanitising Stations are in place at the entrance to each of our stores.
If you have any symptoms of Covid-19, we request that you do not visit our store.
Johnstons of Elgin are incredibly grateful for the ongoing hard work of the UK’s care workers during the Covid-19 crisis, and to show our support, our designers have created a Limited Edition Cashmere Rainbow Scarf, available in our stores. For every scarf sold, we will donate £100 to NHS Charities Together, supporting the NHS, its employees, volunteers and patients in the UK.
In recent weeks, we are also proud to have supported the hospital and primary care centres local to our Elgin mill, producing small batches of scrubs while they waited for NHS supplies.
Our communities, employees and customers remain our primary focus, and we would like to thank you all for your continued support.

The store will also be offering a Personal Shopping service. To arrange an appointment, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org. A member of our store team will then contact you to confirm your appointment.
